Information Regarding National Public Data

As you may have heard, there was a recent data breach at National Public Data. While this incident may have involved stolen Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including Social Security numbers, we currently have no evidence suggesting that bank data was compromised. Therefore, there is no need to replace your debit.

To protect yourself, please stay vigilant and monitor your statements for any unusual activity. If you notice anything suspicious or suspect fraudulent transactions:

  1. Immediately deactivate your debit card using your mobile app.
  2. Contact us right away at 800-246-2009.

For your ongoing security, we recommend the following best practices:

Update your antivirus software and run regular security scans on all your devices. If malware is detected, most antivirus programs can remove it, but you may need professional help in some cases.

Change your passwords for bank accounts, email accounts, social media, and other services. Use strong, unique passwords for each account, including a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Avoid using personal information that could be guessed or obtained from the breach.

Enable multifactor authentication on any accounts that offer it to add an extra layer of security.

Review your credit report regularly and report any unauthorized use of credit cards. If needed, request a credit freeze from the credit bureaus.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reach out to us at 800-246-2009.
