The Institute of Student Loan Advisors (TISLA) recently received a grant through the Donald E. Garrant Foundation, Inc. of The Savings Bank to support the organization’s financial literacy program. Established in 2001, the Donald E Garrant Foundation, Inc. of The Savings Bank supports projects that focus on financial education: banking, money, saving, investing, borrowing, credit and economics. TISLA, a nation-wide nonprofit dedicated to giving students fair, free student loan advice and dispute resolution, will use its $2500 grant from the Foundation to help fund some of its student loan counseling and resolution programs.
