Steven J. Tromp has joined The Savings Bank’s Commercial Banking Department as Vice President – Senior Credit Officer. Steve brings extensive knowledge and experience in credit, risk management and lending to the Bank.
Before joining The Savings Bank, Steve was associated with First Republic Bank as Senior Credit Officer/Executive Loan Committee member. He was previously associated with Wainwright Bank as Chief Credit and Risk Officer, Sovereign Bank as Senior Vice President/Senior Underwriter – Business Banking, and BankBoston, N.A. in positions of increasing responsibility in commercial lending, small business lending, and risk management.
Steve received both his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Banking, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education as an honors graduate at the University of Wisconsin. Additionally, he was a DAAD/Fullbright Fellow in Music Education at Folkwang University in Essen, Germany, and attended the Leadership for Change Executive Program at Boston College, and the Corporate Finance and Credit Training Program at the First National Bank of Chicago.
